Morris Township firefighters like to say “the job is tough, but you’re tougher.”
How tough?
Find out on March 3, 2018, at the Woodland Fire House. From 10 am to 2 pm, firefighters will describe what it takes to become a volunteer firefighter–and why it’s so satisfying.
The fire department needs volunteers. According to members, advantages include:
- Free Family Membership at the Ginty and Streeter Pools
- VIP stipend package
- All training costs are covered
- Community camaraderie and events
- Excellent equipment
Or, as they put it more succinctly: “Be a hero to your kids, your community, and yourself.”
The Woodland Fire House is at 20 Dwyer Lane. For more details, call Fire Chief Jesse Kaar at 973-326-7435
