Homer Hill railroad photograph exhibit at Morristown and Morris Township Library

The Morristown and Morris Township Library is proud to host the Tri-State Railroad Historical Society’s Homer R. Hill: A Retrospective 65 Years of Railroad Photography in the library’s second floor F.M. Kirby Gallery. The exhibit will be on display through March.

Hill was born in Newark in 1915, and moved to Bernardsville 11 years later. A family trip to Chicago in 1933 instilled a love for photography that stayed with him the rest of his life. The photographs in this exhibit are of local trains, train stations and of trains across the country including a few of trains crossing the Rocky Mountains in Canada.
