Commuting doesn’t sound like much fun on Wednesday.

A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect between 4 a.m. and 9 p.m. on Feb. 7, 2018.

The National Weather Service predicts two- to four inches of snow may fall on Greater Morristown, with a glazing of ice thrown in.

Snow may be heavy at times for the morning commute, and then change to a wintry mix of sleet and freezing rain from late morning through the afternoon.  Expect rain for the evening commute.

“Plan on slippery road conditions, including during the morning and evening commutes on Wednesday,” advises the National Weather Service.

“Be prepared for reduced visibilities at times, especially in the morning when snowfall rates of one inch per hour may occur.”
