Video: Signs of the times, at the Women’s March in Morristown

Saturday’s Women’s March on New Jersey was a colorful spectacle, with a wide variety of signs.

Check out some of them in this video. My thanks to photographers Katharine Boyle, Lee Goldberg, Bill Lescohier, Penny Lopez, Sharon Sheridan, Jeff Sovelove, Linda Stamato and Sarah Yamashita for the imagery.

The first song on the video is sung by Claudia Sydenstricker, a teen who sings in the choir at Grace Episcopal Church and volunteers at Wind of the Spirit. The folk songs were performed by an ensemble in front of the Mayo Performing Arts Center.

Bonus points if you can name the shimmery voice on the finale.

  1. Well done, Kevin!! You captured the moment, the moments, really, and linked them together so well. Those of us in the march couldn’t see what was going on in front of or behind us… Thanks for filling it in for us and for letting those who couldn’t participate feel part if it…..
