Catching your breath?  Here’s a light roster of fun weekend events across Greater Morristown to ease you back into the swing of things.

THURSDAY, JAN. 4, 2018:

Like books?  Check out the Book Lovers Circle at 7 pm in the Morristown & Township Library. Free. At One Miller Road, Morristown.

FRIDAY, JAN. 5:

Morning Yoga with Munah Hayes returns to the Morristown & Township Library at 9:30 am. Free. Bring a yoga mat. At One Miller Road, Morristown.

While tickets are sold out for actor Matthew Broderick’s 7 pm reading of Truman Capote’s A Christmas Memory, St. Peter’s Episcopal Church in Morristown invites the public to stop by afterwards to check out the piano bar, from 9:30 pm to 1 am, in the Great Hall. Admission is free…and you never know who will be singing by the piano. At Miller Road and Maple Avenue. Enter via the Cloister.

Folk favorites Pat Wictor and Reggie Harris share a stage at The Minstrel in Morris Township at 7:30 pm. Admission: $10, children 12 and under, free. At the Morristown Unitarian Fellowship,  21 Normandy Heights Road.

The Capitol Steps bring their Orange is the New Barack comedy show to Morristown’s Mayo Performing Arts Center at 8 pm. Tickets: $29-$59.  At 100 South St. Call 973-539-8008.

SATURDAY, JAN. 6:

It’s the 34th Anniversary Dance of the Folk Project’s Swingin’ Tern, at 7:30 pm at the Presbyterian Church in East Hanover. Admission: $10 per adult, $5 per student with Student ID. At 14 Hanover Road. Please carry in clean, soft-soled shoes for dancing. Call (973) 295-6864 for more.

Rick Springfield brings his “Stripped Down” show to Morristown’s Mayo Performing Arts Center with opener Jennifer Lynn Simpson at 8 pm. Tickets: $49-$79. At 100 South St. Call 973-539-8008.

SUNDAY, JAN. 7:

The weekly indoors Morris County Winter Farmers’ Market is back, from 10 am to 2 pm at Alexander Hamilton School, 24 Mills St., Morristown. It’s here each Sunday through April 15, 2018.

Pinkalicious, The Musical, comes to Morristown’s Mayo Performing Arts Center for shows at 1:30 pm and 4:30 pm. Ages 4-12. All attendees must have tickets: $12-$15. At 100 South St. Call 973-539-8008.
