Reliable sources tell us that Friday night’s performance of the New Jersey Ballet’s Nutcracker at the Mayo Performing Arts Center concluded with a special treat:
Cavalier Andre Luis Teixeira got down on one knee, produced a ring in a purple box to match his costume, and proposed to Sugar Plum Catherine Whiting.
The New Jersey Symphony struck up Here Comes the Bride and the big crowd went wild, we are told.
