For this abbreviated holiday edition of our weekend preview, we reprise a Yuletide tradition: A rebroadcast of A Christmas Carol, recited masterfully by the Rev. John Hartnett at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church in Morristown in 2012.
This dramatic presentation will turn any traffic jam into a wondrous flight of fancy. Our gift to you!
And don’t forget to mark your calendar for Jan. 5, 2018–the Twelfth Day of Christmas–when actor Matthew Broderick and his sister, Rector Janet Broderick, will give a free reading of Truman Capote’s A Christmas Memory at St. Peter’s.
And now, a few events for you, in between your last-minute shopping and holiday visiting. Scroll down for details. Check our handy calendar for more activities–and add your own events, too.
Safe travels, and a joyous, Merry Christmas!
