This just in: A Merry Tuba Christmas will return to the historic Morristown Green on Dec. 23, 2017, at 3 pm.

Last year’s performance fell victim to a wintry forecast.

But we’re sure the revival of this brassy tradition will stir euphoria–or is it euphonium?—among tubists near and far.

The first Merry Tuba Christmas occurred at New York’s Rockefeller Center in 1974. It’s spread to more than 250 venues worldwide, reaching Morristown in 2012.
