Where did the chocolate chips go?!

Kids, you might get a clue at 2 pm today, Saturday, Nov. 11, 2017, at The Learning Express in Morristown at 158 South St.

Author Marie Pfeifer will read from her new children’s book, The Mystery of the Missing Chocolate Chips, and she’ll be signing copies, too.

This kiddie caper, illustrated by Theresa Stites, is set in Morristown’s South Street Creamery.  Its fudge sundaes thicken the plot, and you can try them and meet Marie at her book release party at The Creamery (146 South St.) on Nov. 29 at 1:30 pm.

Marie, a longtime contributor to MorristownGreen.com, also tutors first- and second graders in math at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church when she’s not dreaming up delicious mysteries.

She also co-wrote and narrated the documentary White Man on a Bicycle, the story of a Morristown handyman who raises money to provide medical care to the people of war-ravaged Sierra Leone in West Africa.

A mother of three with three grandkids, Marie has dedicated The Mystery of the Missing Chocolate Chips to her late daughter Clare, whose childhood imagination, along with her sister Arlene and their friend Francesca, inspired the book.
