“We are so excited to celebrate 11 years of extraordinary talent in our community and 11 years of Morristown ONSTAGE raising money to fund initiatives supporting the students in the Morris School District. We have raised over $525,000 over the last 10 years from the event and we hope to raise a record amount this year,” said Molly Servais, Morristown ONSTAGE event chair and member of the Morris Educational Foundation Board of Trustees.

Last year’s sold-out event was emceed by Tara Bernie, who is a four time Emmy-nominated senior television producer. For 18 years, she was with NBC’s Access Hollywood and Access Hollywood LIVE. Beyond the lights and cameras, Bernie is Morristown resident and a Morris School District parent. She will be returning this year to reprise her role as emcee.

Servais added, “You won’t want to miss this year’s show. We are planning to showcase the 10 incredible schools in the Morris School District and always have a few surprises planned for the audience.”

“The Morris Educational Foundation is very excited about Morristown ONSTAGE. We are proud to give our community’s local amateur talent an opportunity to perform in front of their hometown, and in a top notch facility such as the Mayo Performing Arts Center” said Patty Haralampoudis, Chairperson of the Morris Educational Foundation.

“The event sold out in two days last year so be sure to get your tickets as soon as they go on sale in early 2018.”

“The Morris Educational Foundation is an integral part of the Morris School District and this fundraising event will further the Foundation’s ability to distribute financial and other resources to and for the Morris School District for enrichment programs and other projects aimed at enhancing the quality of education and educational opportunities for students in the district,” added Servais.

Last year, the event raised over $126,000 for the Morris Educational Foundation. Tickets for the show will go on sale in early 2018 through The Mayo Performing Arts Center in Morristown.
