Elected officials sometimes are accused of being in the dark about things.

But it’s literally true tonight, Tuesday, Oct. 24, 2017, in Morristown.

A power outage at town hall has canceled the evening’s council meeting. Jersey Central Power and Light is working on the problem, said town Administrator Jillian Barrick.

A little earlier in the afternoon, JCP&L was working to repair failed traffic signals on Washington Street.  No word yet if the problems are related.
