Advisory: Seeing Eye Doggy Dash 5K and Walk
On Sunday, Oct. 8, 2017, The Seeing Eye will be hosting a Doggy Dash 5K and Walk in the Lidgerwood, Windmill Pond, and James Street neighborhoods.
The event will use Lidgerwood Park as its origin and destination point, and Lidgerwood Parkway, James Street to Edgewood Road, will be closed to vehicle traffic from 9 am until approximately noon.
(Residents of that stretch who need to access their homes will be accommodated by uniformed police and/or event volunteers.)
Additionally, northbound James Street from Ogden Place to Glenwood Road will be closed to vehicle traffic briefly at that start of the event, approximately 10 minutes.
During that time vehicles will be detoured to Ogden Place to Miller Road to access points north. The race route other than the aforementioned closures, will be open to vehicle traffic.
