Save a life one bite at a time, donate your appetite!

  • Date: Thursday, Oct. 5, 2017
  • Time: Lunch and Dinner Hours
  • Location: Participating Restaurants

On Oct. 5, 2017, five Morris County restaurants will participate in Dining Out For Life, an international event that takes place annually aimed at raising funds for local HIV/AIDS services.

Last year, the event was held in more than 65 cities throughout the United States and Canada raising over $4.19 million dollars in support of 54 non-profit organizations serving people living with HIV/AIDS.

On this one day, participating restaurants will donate 33 percent of their proceeds to directly benefit people living with HIV/AIDS in New Jersey thus allowing non-profits to provide HIV education and prevention services, as well as comprehensive support services to those affected by HIV/AIDS in our state.

Locally, New Jersey AIDS Services headquartered in Morristown will be the beneficiary of this year’s daylong event.

“It’s such a simple way to help people in need. All you have to do is go out to eat at a restaurant that participates in Dining Out For Life on Oct. 5th and you will be helping to support the most vulnerable in our community,” said Joann McEniry, chief operating officer.

Giving back has never been so easy. When you dine at a participating restaurant for lunch or dinner, 33 percent of your bill will be donated to New Jersey AIDS Services.

Participating Morris County restaurants include The Salad House in Morristown, Café Metro in Denville, The Corner Bistro in Randolph, Fresco Mexican in Chester and Poor Henry’s in Montville and  For more information please visit www.diningoutforlife.com/newjersey.
