Morristown High School’s unbeaten field hockey team got off to a strong start in Morris County tournament action, blanking Montville 6-0 in the opening round this week.
The Colonials got two goals apiece from Olivia Graham, Callie Sundin and Indira Summerville, and goalie Emily Prachthauser blocked both Montville shots en route to the girls’ ninth straight victory.
They are ranked No. 11 in the NJ.com Top 20, and will continue their quest to repeat as Morris County champs on Saturday, when they will play either Chatham or Boonton.
Our thanks to Morristown Green contributor Grace Prachthauser for these colorful shots of Monday’s opener.
