A small earthquake hit Morristown on Saturday, the second quake this week.

This one, a magnitude 1.0, occurred at 8:05 am about a mile to the west/northwest of Morristown, at a depth of about seven miles, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

On Monday evening, a 1.7 magnitude quake struck about the same distance to the south/southwest of Morristown, at a depth of three miles.

This time, Gianna Delcolle of Morris Township said she felt “a little rumble, then a boom.”
