Meet Morristown artist Dan Fenelon from 6 pm to 8 pm, at the opening of his exhibition, iCandy, at the Gallery at 14 Maple in Morristown. Free. The exhibition runs through Feb. 15, 2018, and can be seen during weekday business hours.
The Friends of Historic Speedwell present their Friends of History Awards from 6:30 pm to 8 pm, at the Haggerty Center of the Frelinghuysen Arboretum in Morris Township. Morristown High School has moved its varsity football game, originally scheduled for Saturday, to 2 pm today so it won’t conflict with Yom Kippur. The 0-3 Colonials, bested 31-20 by West Morris Central last week, will try to get back on track at home against winless Columbia High School.
Author and historian Robert Fredericks of Morristown will discuss his new book, The Flame Fighters of Morristown: 220 Years of Serving the People of Morristown, 1797 – 2017, at 7 pm at the Morristown & Township Library. Free. One Miller Road, Morristown.
