Zachary Zingale, a 30-year-old former advertising executive from Morristown, has pleaded guilty to the June robbery of the TD Bank on South Street.

He faces up to five years in prison for a third-degree charge when sentenced on Oct. 27, 2017, reports The Daily Record.

Zingale, who is addicted to heroin, according to his lawyer, still faces charges in connection with the robbery of a TD Bank in Manhattan five days before the Morristown crime on June 16.

On that morning, he handed a note to the teller saying he had a weapon, and made off with $688, according to the newspaper.

The bank is practically across the street from the Morristown police department, and Zingale was arrested quickly–after spending a few dollars at Walgreen’s, said the paper, quoting defense attorney Joel Harris.
