Police never are really off-duty. And that’s a good thing for a two-year-old child in Clearwater Beach, FL.
Morris Township Sgt. Sean O’Hare was vacationing on Sunday and responded to “commotion and distress”–an infant was drowning, according to Township police.
“The child was blue and not breathing when removed from the water. Sgt. O’Hare initiated CPR and was able to resuscitate the child,” reported Township Capt. Mark DiCarlo.
The heroic effort occurred at 1:28 pm. O’Hare is a 20-year veteran of the police department.
Sgt. Sean O’Hare, Proud to know that you are in our town. The family the child to have had fate bring you together, God Bless you and your family.
