THURSDAY, JUNE 8, 2017:

Meet award-winning photographers, when the Morristown & Township Library hands out its second photo contest awards at 7 pm. Free. At One Miller Road, Morristown.

Joe Jackson comes to Morristown’s Mayo Performing Arts Center at 8 pm.  Tickets are $49-$59, but they are SOLD OUT. Check the box office if you’re feeling lucky, at 100 South St. Call 973-539-8008.

FRIDAY, JUNE 9:

Morning Yoga with Munah Hayes returns to the Morristown & Township Library at 9:30 am. Free. Bring a yoga mat. At One Miller Road, Morristown.

Morristown High School hosts its fifth annual Film Festival from 7 pm to 10 pm, in the school media center. It culminates the school’s week-long Art and Design Show. Organized by broadcasting teacher Michael Butler, the festival will be judged by producer Tara Bernie of NBC’s Access Hollywood, NJTV News producer Shoshannah Buxbaum, and content producer Pamela Garber of Grey Advertising. Free. At 50 Early St.

Manhattan Comedy Night returns to Morristown’s Mayo Performing Arts Center at 8 pm. Featuring Mike Yard, Joey Kola, Greg Rogell, Emma Willman. Mature themes, language. Adults only. Tickets: $25-$30. At 100 South St., 973-539-8008.

SATURDAY, JUNE 10:

The Morris Area Freewheelers host their 9th annual Revolutionary Ramble, an assortment of rides ranging from 10- to 100 miles, at 7 am, starting at Drew University in Madison. Proceeds benefit area EMS squads. Fees: $5 to $75. Register here. At 36 Madison Ave. Read more.

The Civil War invades Historic Speedwell in Morristown from 10 am to 5 pm, and on Sunday from 10 am to 4 pm. Re-enactors, battles, camp life and more. Admission: $5 to 7, children under 4, free. At 333 Speedwell Ave. Call 973-285-6550.

Nicole’s Broadway Dance Company of East Hanover celebrates its 27th annual dance performance, Fantasmic! at 11 am and 5 pm, at Morristown’s Mayo Performing Arts Center. Tickets $25. At 100 South St., 973-539-8008.

Our Youth Their Future presents its 8th annual Youth Rally, from noon to 5 pm at Morristown’s Cauldwell Playground. Free. Featuring inspirational speakers, live music, food, face painting, a dunk tank, and more.

The Jerzey Derby Brigade skates against the Jersey Shore Roller Girls at 7 pm, at InLine Morristown. Doors open at 6:15 pm. Tickets: $10 in advance, $12 at door. At 38 Dumont Place.

The Civil War at Historic Speedwell continues from 10 am to 4 pm. Please see Saturday entry for details.

The MacDowell Club of Mountain Lakes presents a free piano recital by John Blasdale at 3 pm, at 19 Pocono Road in Denville.
