To the Editor:

I hope the Mayo Center will refrain from booking Kathy Griffin in the future. Her photo with a beheaded Donald Trump is more than disgusting as is her self-serving apology.

Griffin’s publicity grab could conceivably inspire a domestic terrorist or other loon. CNN has fired Griffin. The Mayo and other venues should follow suit.

  1. She needs to be cut off. To tolerate it would send yet AGAIN how society is broken. Accountability amd Standards.. along with Consistency for all will send a message to all the little anti confirming rejects today.. to think twice about your conduct when not in your own 4 walls. She CAN say and DO what she pleases, BUT, standards and decency will SHUN those types in public forums. If not- they will lose big business and have all the rejects which like griffins mentality saturate theor venue. Its a divide of class levels .. what can you do? theres a reason upper middle and lower class exists. It isnt only money tgat makes that choice.. its manners, etiquette and standards. If you want yoir kids acting like they have no boundaries then enjoy. Shes AGED out 52 year old looking for some buzz.. like most over the hill and reality settling in they attack successful people to be relevant. Move on.

  2. Mr Borrow, It seems to me that you are “off subject” and are espousing bitter feelings toward your neighbors. Remember the second greatest commandment, which is to love your neighbor as yourself.

  3. C’mon, will ya’?

    She’s a comedian…they push the envelope…even cross it frequently…

Remember Lenny Bruce? Richard Pryor? Eddie Murphy? Andrew “Dice” Clay?

    George Carlin?

Those who liked her before likely still do, and those of us who didn’t just have another reason not to…

    Not much has changed…

Let her say what she wants, and let the market decide…

  4. Should they continue to book her, I and my family and friends will no longer be supporting their events. She is a vile and disturbing person, such jokes a images have no place in comedy. For heaven’s sake, this is occurring daily in certain places. As well as family members of such attrocties see this! No to Kathy Griffin

  5. I hope the Mayo Center will continue to book Kathy Griffin in the future. Her photo with a beheaded Donald Trump is more disgusting than images of former President Obama being hung, it’s true, but no less worthy of free speech.

Griffin’s publicity grab could conceivably inspire a domestic terrorist or other loon, such as Ted Nugent who threatened to kill our previous president. CNN has fired Griffin. The Mayo and other venues should *not* follow suit.

Every American has the right to express themselves. It is true that they are not exempt from the repercussions of those actions, but just because it doesn’t appeal to you doesn’t mean that it doesn’t appeal to everyone.

  6. I agree with Mr. Romanoff. In my opinion she is a very sick person and should consider seeking a mental health professional to help her regain stability.

  7. And the horrible things that the Republicans Racists said about our former president is ok? What about the frightening, disturbing and xenophobic statements made towards President Obama when he was in office.

Only the racists believed these outlandish statements were ok and permitted because there was a Black man as president?

Not on your life Mr. Romanoff.
