The New Jersey VegFest brings a small but extremely yummy vegan pop-up shop back to the Laundromat Bar on Sunday, April 30, noon-6. The vegan food fest will be taking the month of May off, so this is your chance to stock on vegan samosas, breakfast empanadas, and freshly made and super delicious veggie sausages. Tickets are five dollars in advance or at the door and help support the Barnyard Sanctuary. The Laundromat is located at 4 DeHart Street in Morristown and this event is 21 & over.
Morris Area Society of Homebrewers will be joining the vegan pop-up this month and bringing along their most discerning taste testers, as well as having a booth and being ready to answer all your questions about happy and hoppy homebrewing.
Glassworks Studio, a Morristown favorite, will be there with a selection of their art glass perfect to gift and will be taking special orders for Mothers Day, including their custom garden stakes for your favorite veggie gardener.
Samosa Shack is offering a special pre-order deal; 4 for $12 (usually $16), and they will last in the fridge for 10 days and in your freezer for over a month. They are offering Sweet Potato Spinach, Potato Pea, Kale Channa Masala and Tofu Tikka Masala. They will also be ready wiht thendian Street Salad, Bhel Puri, and will do a ‘Samosa Chaat – samosa with some chickpea curry.
Chocolate Calling will be offering Double-Chocolate Chunk Cookies, Banana Bread Truffles, Coconut Abounds,Bon-Bon Assortment with Tart Cherry, Chinese Five Spice, Lavender, Espresso, & Hazelnut Chocolates, Chocolate-Covered Pretzels & Potato Chips, Chocolate Crunch Bars and instagram-worthy Wonka Bars.
