As I reflect this Earth Day, I think about my family and ways that I can make significant impacts in the health and safety of the environment around them.

My children love the outdoors, and I want to ensure that they and their children continue playing in the dirt, catching frogs and helping plant and take care of flower and vegetable
gardens.

We all share in this holistic responsibility, not for ourselves, but for our families, neighbors and communities.

Sustainable initiatives, such as recycling and composting, teach our future generations about managing resources and ways we can minimize our carbon footprint.

We have the ability to change the mindset of future generations, but we must serve as an example now, and instill these values in our society and forever honor our Mother Earth.
