The calendar is a lighter than usual this weekend because of the holiday, but you still can find some fun around Greater Morristown.

Sustainable Morristown presents Animals in the Communitya 6 pm talk at the Morristown & Township Library by Alison Deeb. Deeb, a Morristown councilwoman, has been active as a puppy raiser for The Seeing Eye Inc. As a founder of the Morristown Area Responsible Dog Owner’s Group, she also was instrumental in creation of a dog park. Admission: Free. At One Miller Road, Morristown.


Morning Yoga with Munah Hayes returns to the Morristown & Township Library at 9:30 am. Free. Bring a yoga mat. At One Miller Road, Morristown.

The Presbyterian Church in Morristown presents a special musical service at noon. Matthew Webb directs the Chancel Choir and full orchestra in Dan Forrest’s Requiem for the Living, followed by Beethoven’s Symphony No. 7, Movement 2. Free. At 57 East Park Place.

Morristown Game Vault Opens on South Street

Experience Halloween in April, at Cosplay Night at the Morristown Game Vault. Prizes awarded for top costumes; for all ages. (Please keep costumes family-friendly.) Admission: $15. At 22 South St.

Entrance fees are waived today and Sunday at the Washington’s Headquarters Museum. Check out the Treasured Landscapes Exhibit, highlighting works from the National Park Service Art collection. At 30 Washington Place, Morristown, 973-539-2016 ext. 210.

Ride the 25th annual Easter Bunny Express, at the Whippany Rail Museum. Ten-mile roundtrips depart on the hour between 1 pm and 4 pm. Tickets:Adults $14, children (under 12): $9; age 1 and under, free.  At One Railroad Plaza. Call(973) 887-8177.
