Some 52 police officers from seven states visited Israel last September to train with multiple units, visit Israel’s new state-of-the-art police academy, and hold a ceremony at Jerusalem’s 9/11 memorial.

Morris Township Administrator Tim Quinn–a former police chief–was among them. He will discuss the trip, including counter-terrorism techniques that were studied, this Sunday, April 2, 2017, at 10 am in the Morristown Jewish Center.

Quinn will be joined by Michael Safris, chief of the Essex County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Division, who was the US delegation leader.

The event is free and all are welcome. Coffee and bagels will be served. Please RSVP so we have enough bagels on hand. The Morristown Jewish Center is at 177 Speedwell Ave.
