From Just Jersey:

Spread the Love on National Peanut Butter and Jelly Day

This Sunday, April 2, 2017, shop local at Just Jersey to join the fight against hunger. The event commemorates the partnership between Just Jersey and fellow Morristown business Food for Thoughts Cards, in their ongoing effort to support the mission of the Morristown Community Soup Kitchen and Outreach Center.

Food for Thought Cards features a line of bread-shaped greeting cards whose products can now be found in retail shops nationwide. With the purchase of each card, the cash equivalent of one peanut butter and jelly sandwich is donated to an organization that feeds the hungry.

Over the last two years, Just Jersey’s card purchasing customers have enabled the donation of more than 1,200 sandwiches to the Morristown Community Soup Kitchen.

This Sunday, on National Peanut Butter and Jelly Day, Food for Thoughts Cards will double the donation for any cards purchased. Just Jersey will donate 10  percent of all sales that day to the Morristown Community Soup Kitchen.

Peanut butter and jelly sandwiches (New Jersey shaped, of course) will be served from 1 until 3 pm. Come out and try some locally-made peanut butter from Cape May Peanut Butter Company and a delicious assortment of jam from Jams by Kim, who have contributed their products for the event.

Just Jersey, located at 163 South St., offers locally made goods from over 200 New Jersey-based artists, designers, and creative small businesses.
