Love bargains?
Then chances are, you’re going to love spending time at the Morristown United Methodist Church on Saturday.
The 22nd annual Rummage Sale runs from 9 am to 2 pm on Saturday, March 25, 2017. Treasures large and small are waiting: Household items, electronics, furniture, clothing, toys, sporting gear–you name it, they’ve got it.
Proceeds benefit the church’s summer youth mission trip to renovate homes in Appalachia.
“I always look forward to this,” said Andrew Cattano, organizer of the event.
“We’ve got good quality items at good prices. It helps support the local community, and it supports families in Appalachia. It’s a win-win all around.”
Last year’s sale raised about $13,000, Cattano said.
A small army of volunteers makes the sale possible, said Pastor Brandon Cho .
“They work tirelessly by picking up donated furniture and household items, setting up, sorting and pricing, and cleaning up after the sale. I am proud of these folks who apply “love in action” for others,” said the Rev. Cho.
The church is at 50 South Park Place. Call 973-538-2132 for more details.
