Congress is poised to repeal the Affordable Care Act — also known as Obamacare — as soon as this Thursday.
How will the GOP replacement — the American Health Care Act — affect you?
New Jersey Working Families and partner organizations are hosting a panel talk on Tuesday, March 21, 2017, at 6 pm in Morristown town hall at 200 South St. They plan to discuss:
…the detrimental impact the American Health Care Act will have on working families, public health, and local hospitals. The American Health Care Act threatens to eliminate health insurance coverage for 24 million people by 2026, while also providing caps and cuts to Medicaid, and providing $600 billion in tax cuts to the rich while leaving millions of working families with higher costs.
The panelists:
- Analilia Mejia – Director, New Jersey Working Families Alliance
- Gordon MacInnes – President, New Jersey Policy Perspective
- Jackie Cornell – Senior Director Federal Relations and Regulatory Affairs, NJ Hospital Association
