Nichole Fortier Young shared the adventure of a lifetime with MorristownGreen.com readers last summer, vividly chronicling her one-woman trek along the Appalachian Trail — all 2,189 miles of it.

Now’s your chance to meet this intrepid hiker and author, and find out all the things she couldn’t print!

Nichole will speak at the Morristown & Township Library on Wednesday, March 8, 2017, at 7 pm. She’ll show some stunning photos, too.

Admission is free for Morristown Green readers. (That means everyone!)

BONE UP BY READING NICHOLE’S A.T. DISPATCHES

Grill the Morristown High grad (’04) about the highs and lows of going solo from Georgia to Maine.

Is the solitude breathtaking, or unbearable?  What about the bears?  And how’s it feel to lug a 20-pound pack for five million steps?  Where did Nichole charge her phone?  When nature calls, is it polite to answer?

How hard was re-entry to civilization?  Nichole and her husband Skylar weren’t married long when Nichole hit the trail. Would they recommend a five-month separation to other newlyweds?

Discover all this and more, at One Miller Road, Morristown.
