If you couldn’t make it to the Morris County town hall meeting in Boonton on Tuesday, here is what you — and Rep. Rodney Frelinghuysen (R-11th Dist.) — missed.

We understand that NJ 11th for Change, the group that organized the gathering, had some technical gremlins with its live-stream video that night.  So perhaps our footage will fill in the gaps if you were watching from home.

More than 350 people packed the Jam-E-Masjid Islamic Center, according to estimates by the organizers. The event ran for more than two hours.

During the public comments, Frelinghuysen constituents expressed concerns about President Trump’s crackdown on undocumented immigrants, and on GOP efforts to repeal the Affordable Care Act.

The congressman’s support for measures that weaken gun controls, environmental protections and Planned Parenthood also was questioned.

Frelinghuysen, chairman of the powerful House Appropriations Committee, issued a statement commending participants for exercising their First Amendment rights, but said he preferred telephone conferences with selected constituents. The Harding resident was elected to his 12th term last November.

NJ 11th for Change also convened town halls in Sparta, Little Falls and Livingston. Frelinghuysen did not attend those, either.
