NJ 11th for Change, a nonpartisan group that is lobbying Rep. Rodney Frelinghuysen (R-11th Dist.) against repealing Obamacare, met in Morris Township on Sunday for its first organizational meeting.
Organizers discussed actions and events, outreach and membership, publicity and research and analysis during the afternoon gathering at the Morristown Unitarian Fellowship.
Founded by David Rosenberg, the group claims about 1,600 members. About 100 people attended the meeting.
Last Friday, the group delivered bags of coal–meant to symbolize the GOP’s lack of a workable replacement for the Affordable Care Act–to the Morristown office of the 12-term congressman. –– Bill Lescohier
