It’s pretty hard to break a new Christmas carol; the market is saturated.

But the Winter Solstice?  That field is wide open.

Bring a new tune, old challenges and good intentions to Grow It Green Morristown’s annual Winter Solstice Celebration, on Wednesday, Dec. 21, 2016, at 6 pm in the Early Street Community Garden.  (Suggestion: Wear campfire clothes. The fire can get smoky.)

Here’s more from Grow It Green:

Humans have celebrated the winter solstice since pre-historic times. Now you can join in observing this wonder of nature with a special evening celebration hosted by Grow It Green Morristown and the community. Learn about the solstice, let go of the past year’s challenges and savor the warmth of hot cocoa and fire pits. We’ll also set our intentions for 2017! This event is free and open to the public.
