We took a holiday road trip last weekend, venturing almost to the edge of the universe– Mt. Tabor.
It was well worth the exhausting journey. Peter Mayer, guitarist for Jimmy Buffett, has assembled an impressive little band of his own, the
Wings of Angels.
They cast a warm glow in the cozy Tabernacle–a gem among venues–with their reinventions of Christmas classics.
One of them, Drummer Girl, takes The Little Drummer Boy to a whole new place. Which was the purpose of the road trip.
A tip of the Santa cap goes to Morristown’s own Finn Wentworth, whose generosity made this captivating concert possible.
