About Sustainable Morristown

Sustainable Morristown (SusMo) is a local nonprofit organization that works closely with Sustainable Jersey (SJ), a state-wide nonprofit organization widely acclaimed for its model approach to promoting sustainability.

A major focus of SusMo’s work in 2017 is to serve as the Green Team for the town of Morristown as it works to renew its SJ certification. This prestigious certification involves work with many different stakeholders (community, business, municipal) on many different action categories (energy efficiency, transportation, waste management, recycling, health and wellness, food, local economy etc.).

One of SusMo’s major goals (supported by its SJ work) is to connect people, information, and actions in ways that help all of us go green, save money, and preserve resources for future generations.
