The County College of Morris is pulling up stakes from Morristown.
CCM will cease operations at 30 Schuyler Place on Dec. 31, 2016, the school announced on Friday.
“The space, which has been made available to the college by the county since January 2012, is now needed for governmental services.
“The board noted that it is confident that courses offered at the Morristown location can be adequately accommodated at CCM’s Randolph campus,” the school said in a statement.
Trustees approved the closure at their annual reorganization on Nov. 16.
But Morristown may get another chance.
“College officials also stated that CCM remains committed to the Morristown community and they are exploring new locations for ESL [English as a Second Language] and other courses,” the school said.
