The Moneywise Empowerment Tour, hosted by the Morristown Alumnae Fortitude Foundation, will be held at the Hyatt Regency Morristown, lat 3 Speedwell Ave. in Morristown, on Saturday, Nov. 12, 2016.

The Moneywise Empowerment Tour is a daylong (8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.), national outreach program designed to help members of multicultural and minority households protect their economic resources and increase their net worth.

This national, wealth-building tour will provide attendees the opportunity to engage national thought leaders, local businesses, financial services companies, government agencies, and nonprofit organizations.

The Morristown Alumnae Fortitude Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and the proceeds from the event will support the community youth development programs and the scholarship fund of the Morristown Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.

“The information that will be shared during the Moneywise Empowerment Tour is much needed in our community and is sure to have an indelible impact on those who attend,” remarked Stacey L. Harris, president of the Morristown Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.

“Understanding how to access money-making opportunities and build economic security is important in America today,” said Kelvin Boston, host of the Moneywise public television show.
