As of this afternoon, Nov. 7, 2016, Morristown police are advising motorists:
AVOID Martin Luther King Avenue and Abbett Avenue until further notice. The intersection is closed off due to emergent construction. Abbett Ave is closed from MLK Avenue to Ridgedale Avenue.
The roads will be closed for several hours as Jersey Central Power & Light crews work to correct the issue. Detours will be in place but expect heavy traffic delays.
