The New Jersey VegFest will be held on Sunday, October 2, at the Hyatt Regency in Morristown  and features vegan food to sample and purchase, clothing and beauty products, music and speakers.

The documentary, Eating You Alive is being shown on October 2 at Morristown High School with a 6:30pm showing. Two New Jersey doctors who are speaking at the VegFest also makes appearances in the movie: Dr. Joel Fuhrman and Dr. Ron Weiss from Ethos Health.

Half of all adults in the U.S. struggle with chronic health conditions. Despite countless dollars spent on medical research and drugs to improve our health, more Americans are disabled and dying from chronic disease than ever before.

Featuring leading medical experts and researchers, Eating You Alive takes a scientific look at the reasons we’re so sick, who’s responsible for feeding us the wrong information and how we can use whole-food, plant-based nutrition to take control of our health—one bite at a time.

Advocates for this nutritional wellness approach include James Cameron, Samuel L. Jackson and Penn Jillette as well as healthcare experts Doctors Dean Ornish, Neal Barnard and John McDougall.

Tickets for the New Jersey VegFest are available at Eventbrite and tickets for the documentary, Eating You Alive, can be purchased online at this link.

A portion of each ticket for the movie screening goes to benefit a Meeting Emergency Needs with Dignity, the largest hunger organization in Essex County. The New Jersey VegFest’s Very Vegan Food Drive launches on October 1 on Amp Your Good.
