As of 5 pm on Tuesday, Aug. 9, 2016, Morristown police were reporting that malfunctioning traffic lights were causing backups in the town’s central business district.
People attending the free lunchtime dance performance on the Morristown Green reported that traffic lights near the square were out.
Police advise motorists to avoid the downtown if possible while repairs are ongoing.
