Video: Shun Ng gives a majestic interpretation of Queen.
By Kevin Coughlin
Is this the real life? Is this just fantasy?
Guitar sensation Shun Ng had spectators wondering earlier this year at The Minstrel, where he sang and performed all the parts of Queen’s operatic Bohemian Rhapsody.
Born in Chicago, raised in Singapore and now based in Boston, Ng has won raves from Brian May and Quincy Jones, and toured with Magic Dick of the J. Geils Band.
In Morris Township in January, Ng opened for Italian flat-picking virtuoso Beppe Gambetta.
The opener made such an impression that Minstrel music coordinator Mike Agranoff booked a return engagement–as the headliner–right from the stage.
So mark this Friday July 1, 2016, on your calendar. Shun Ng is not to be missed.
