“Farm-to-Table” is popular concept with many fans.  But how do you get the Farm to the Table?

If you’re Grow It Green Morristown, you depend on an 18-year-old Ford Ranger.  At least you did… until its transmission died this week.

So Grow It Green hastily is shopping for another vehicle. The nonprofit has started an online drive to raise $5,000 toward a “new-to-us” truck:

“Nothing fancy, but enough to get our fresh produce delivered to those in need in our community,” Grow It Green states.

Last year alone, Grow It Green’s truck delivered more than two tons of locally grown food to area organizations, including Table of Hope, the Interfaith Food Pantry and the Community Soup Kitchen of Morristown.

“If everyone in our community donates just $10, we’ll be able to continue providing these groups and local families with nutritious fresh produce,” Grow It Green says.
