In this video interview, restaurateur Chris Cannon acknowledges he misses the sizzling energy of the New York dining scene, where he was a major figure.

But he’s been there, done that. Transforming Morristown’s century-old Vail Mansion into four restaurants-in-one, on the other hand, was a challenge that whetted his appetite.

“This could never be replicated,” Cannon tells CBS This Morning.

“You know, to me, the goal here is to create a restaurant that is here 25 years from now. I have the opportunity to do that — that’s what interests me.”
