We hope the Easter Bunny is as good to all of you as he was to about 350 kids last weekend at Lidgerwood Park in Morristown.

The “hunt” is a local tradition stretching back about 75 years, according to town Senior Services Manager Wayne Cresta, who has participated in 21 of them.

It’s organized by the town Recreation Department and the Mayor’s Advisory Committee.  Mayor Tim Dougherty and First Lady Mary Dougherty were on hand for the festivities.

Our thanks to Mary, Amanda Applegate and Kathleen Margiotta for the photos.
