THURSDAY, MARCH 10, 2016:
Now the healing begins. Fans of Downton Abbey can lament the show’s demise, at the Downton Abbey Support Group. DA blogger Deborah Gilbert will talk fans off the ledge, at 7 pm in the Morristown & Township Library.
Enjoy Music the Washingtons Knew, performed by the ensemble The Practioners of Musick, at the 7:14 pm meeting of the North Jersey American Revolution Round Table in Morristown. Admission: Free.
The Wellington International Ukulele Orchestra lands on the Mayo Performing Arts Center stage at 8 pm. Tickets: $19-$49. Look for some local cameos.
Everyone’s favorite ticket taker, Eric “Fluffy” Glover, wants to say thank you for helping him in his time of need, with a free screening of Zootopia–and soda and popcorn!–at 7 pm. It’s at AMC Headquarters 10 Morristown. A few tickets may be left, here. Donations will be accepted for Homeless Solutions Inc.
FRIDAY, MARCH 11:
Art Behind Bars, an exhibition of art by a state prisoner, opens with a 7 pm reception at Morristown’s Episcopal Church of the Redeemer. The exhibition runs through March 25, 2016.
Al Stewart (The Year of the Cat) and guitarist Dave Nachmanoff come to The Sanctuary concert series in Chatham at 8 pm. Tickets: $30.
At 8 pm, The Minstrel Open Stage offers an opportunity for acoustic musicians to perform a 15-minute set, and for the audience to enjoy a diverse collection of acoustic musicians. SATURDAY, MARCH 12:
The Farmers St. Patrick’s Day 5K Race starts at 10 am at Ginty Field in Morris Township. Some of the proceeds benefit the Police Unity Tour and Morristown High School track team.
If you love a parade, you will love Morristown today. The Morris County St. Patrick’s Parade rolls up South Street from town hall to the Green, led by Grand Marshal John Hyland, starting at noon. But that’s not all. Here is the full roster of events:

The Center for Spiritual Living Morristown hosts a pot luck dinner and movie, starting with dinner at 6 pm and the film e-motion at 7 pm. Donations welcomed.
Tom Rush, who has influenced everyone from Joni Mitchell to Garth Brooks, comes to The Sanctuary series in Chatham at 8 pm. With opener Carolann Solebello of Red Molly fame. Tickets: $35.
New Jersey Ballet presents Ballet at the Opera at Morristown’s Mayo Performing Arts Center at 8 pm. Tickets: $29-$59.

DAYLIGHT SAVINGS TIME STARTS NOW! “SPRING AHEAD” ONE HOUR!
If You Give Your Kid a Cell Phone: A tech expert from the Morris School District shares tips, at 8:45 am in a free talk at the Presbyterian Church in Morristown.
The Morris County Winter Farmers Market has a new home, Morristown’s Alexander Hamilton School, from 10 am to 2 pm every Sunday through April. Organized by the Foodshed Alliance and Sustainable Morristown, the market aims to present up to 25 vendors of locally grown produce. At 24 Mills St.
Twelve gifted young classical musicians perform at noon in the Pearl and Julius Young Competition, hosted by the Baroque Orchestra of New Jersey, at Dolan Hall in the College of Saint Elizabeth in Morris Township. Admission: Free.
