THURSDAY, FEB. 18, 2016:

The Morris Museum hosts a 6:30 pm reception for an exhibit showcasing 30 works by New Jersey artist W. Carl Burger. Admission: Free. At 6 Normandy Heights Road, Morris Township. Call (973) 971-3700 for more.

The Morristown & Township Library continues its Sherlock Holmes film series at 6:45 pm with The Seven-Per-Cent Solution, starring Nicol Williams, Alan Arkin, Robert Duvall and Laurence Olivier. Admission: Free. At One Miller Road, Morristown.

FRIDAY, FEB. 19:

Grace Episcopal Church in Madison presents a Lenten lunchtime organ recital at 12:15 pm, featuring Dr. Anne Matlack playing works by American composers for 30 minutes. Admission: Free, along with desserts and drinks afterward. Sandwiches and wraps available for $6. At 4 Main St., corner of Kings Road.

The Minstrel  presents a special concert featuring the popular Celtic band Comas, at 8 pm in Morris Township. Tickets: $20. At the Morristown Unitarian Fellowship, 21 Normandy Heights Road.

Country favorite Tanya Tucker performs at the Sanctuary series  in Chatham at 8 pm. She was just 13 when she scored her first hit, Delta Dawn. Tucker has headlined at the Super Bowl, and been honored with a special exhibit at the Country Music Hall of Fame in Nashville. Admission: $55. At the Presbyterian Church, 240 Southern Blvd.

Drew University presents Mendelssohn Sonatas on Period Violin and Fortepiano, featuring Abigail Karr, violin, and Hi-yeng Yang, Fortepiano, at 8 pm, in the Concert Hall. Admission: $20. At 36 Madison Ave., Madison.


SUNDAY, FEB. 21:

morris county winter farmers market posterThe Morris County Winter Farmers Market has a new home, Morristown’s Alexander Hamilton School, from 10 am to 2 pm every Sunday through April. Organized by the Foodshed AllianceandSustainable Morristown, the market aims to present up to 25 vendors of locally grown produce. At 24 Mills St.
