Because of the “overwhelming amount of snow,” the Morristown Parking Authority is extending free overnight garage parking to town residents through the morning of Saturday, Jan, 30, 2016, Mayor Tim Dougherty’s office announced on Wednesday.
This extension applies to residents who park on-street or have on-street parking permits. From the town:
RESIDENTS MAY PARK EVENINGS ON WEDNESDAY 1/27/2016, THURSDAY, 1/28/2016, and FRIDAY 1/29/2016 FROM 5:30 pm – 8:30 am ONLY.
ALL VEHICLES MUST BE REMOVED FROM THESE GARAGES BY 8:30 AM ON SATURDAY, 1/30/2016.

- DALTON PARKING GARAGE (CATTANO AVENUE);
- ANN/BANK PARKING GARAGE;
- DEHART PARKING GARAGE
Show driver’s license as proof of Morristown residency upon exiting to get your parking fee waived.
Parking Fees may be issued if vehicles are moved after the vehicle removal date and time, or if the owner is not a town resident.
