The “Community of Caring” is now the Community of Shoveling.

Morris Plains got socked harder by Winter Storm Jonas than any other New Jersey town: 33 inches fell on the borough, according to the trained spotters of the National Weather Service.

No word yet on whether Mayor Frank Druetzler plans to transform Mountain Way into a ski resort.

In other snow news…  the Morris Museum in Morris Township is closed until Tuesday.  Macculloch Hall in Morristown has canceled its Sunday calendar.
