Finally, winter is official: Mayor Tim Dougherty’s office has issued Morristown’s first free-storm-parking announcement of 2016.
With forecasts of snow for overnight on Friday into Saturday, Morristown residents will be allowed to park for free at three Morristown Parking Authority garages, from Friday, Jan. 22, 2016, at 6 pm through Monday, Jan. 25, 2016, at 8 am.
The garages:
- DALTON PARKING GARAGE (CATTANO AVENUE)
- ANN/BANK STREET PARKING GARAGE
- DEHART PARKING GARAGE
The idea is to clear the streets so plows can do their work.
Show your driver’s license as proof of residency to avoid parking fees. Parking times subject to change. Your mileage may vary.
