Video: ‘Ave Maria’ performed by Christine DeLeon

This is Ave Maria at its best… delivered by the one and only Christine DeLeon.

Perfect for Christmas Eve.

Which is pretty remarkable, considering … Christine sang this on Halloween.

It was at The Sanctuary  in Chatham during intermission of the John Ford Coley / Terry Sylvester concert.  Christine is accompanied by Ed Alstrom, who also plays organ for the New York Yankees.

  1. Thanks, Kevin. Your readers might enjoy knowing that this was impromptu. Christine and Ed Alstrom only met just minutes before he went on stage to perform his set. Both Ed and Christine are professional church musicians, and both can perform in any key. While this video is unrehearsed, Ave Maria is one of the liturgical standards. We talked about them doing it during the intermission for a few friends,. and so I could record it. But as we told a few friends word had spread among the audience and volunteers, everyone stayed for the performance.
