Temple B’nai Or and Clean Green Recycling Host e-Waste Collection Event in Morristown, Sunday, Dec 6

temple b'nai or logoTemple B’nai Or and Clean Green Electronic Recycling are teaming up to help the Morristown and area communities responsibly dispose of old electronics that cannot be thrown out in the regular trash collection.

The event will take place Sunday, Dec 6, 2015, from 9 AM1 PM in the Temple B’nai Or parking lot at 60 Overlook Road (off James Street, behind the Thomas Jefferson Elementary School) in Morristown.

There is a $5/device recycling fee, or $25 fee for unlimited devices. TVs and monitors are $20/unit.  Hard drive destruction is available for an additional $5 fee, and includes a certificate of destruction.

“What better way to get ready for the new wave of electronics that are about to arrive with Hanukkah and Christmas, than to clean out those old devices gathering dust in our basements,” said Wendy Gottsegen, executive director at Temple B’nai Or.

“Mainly they collect because we know we shouldn’t throw them in the regular trash. Clean Green is helping us dispose of electronics the right way.”

Here’s a list of what you can recycle.
