How lame is this?  Someone broke into St. Thomas More Church in Morris Township last week, stole cash from the donation box, and made off with a gold-and-silver religious vessel worth an estimated $10,000, according to Morris County CrimeStoppers.

A reward of up to $1,000 is being offered to anyone with information that helps crack this case.  More details follow.

FROM MORRIS COUNTY CRIMESTOPPERS:

The Morris Township Police Department is currently investigating a burglary to the St. Thomas More Church located on Madison Avenue near the Convent Train Station.

The burglary occurred sometime between Wednesday night (11/18/15) and early Thursday morning (11/19/15).

Stolen from the church were cash from the donation box and the gold and silver Lamb of God Monstrance (similar to photo), with an estimated value of $10,000.00.

It is believed that this item may be sold to a gold buying store or pawn shop for its precious metal value or sold on the internet via Ebay or Craigslist.
